Csóori Sándor "Sündi" ötlete alapján született. A két zenész tavaly ősszel bejárta az ország különböző régióit, ahol tehetséges, de csak szűkebb környezetükben, vagy ott sem ismert zenészek után kutattak. Több mint tízezer kilométert jártak be, elsősorban a hátrányos helyzetű régiókban található cigányközösségeket keresték fel. A program eredményeként kiválasztott tíz zenész - köztük hét, többségükben autodidakta roma zenész megtanulta az együttesre írt és hangszerelt Both Miklós szerzeményeket. A zenekar tagjai Salgótarján mellől, Mohácsról, Dávodról, a Jászságból, Pécsről és Kápolnáról kerültek ki. Olyan zene született, amely egyesíti mindazon zenei kultúrákat, amelyekkel a magyar városokban és falvakban találkozhatunk. "Ebben a történetben az is egy üzenet, hogy modern hangszerelésben a Kárpát-medencei zenekultúra, mennyire tudott archaikus és egyben kortárs is maradni." - nyilatkozta ifj. Csoóri Sándor "Sündi" a produkcióról. A bartóki gyűjtést idéző programot egy filmes stáb követte és az így készült dokumentumfilm megtalálható a  YouTube-on. A stáb munkahelyek öltözőiben, az utcán, iskola előtt vagy otthonukban bírta rá a fiatalokat arra, hogy mutassák be tudásukat. Sok tehetséggel találkoztak, nem fért bele a zenekarba mindegyikük, de a filmben láthatjuk a kimaradtakat is. Egy, a fővárosból nem nagyon látható másik Magyarország tárul a néző elé, amely hátrányos helyzete, elszigeteltsége ellenére kimagasló tehetségeket rejt.
